WARNING:
Risk of injury! To avoid risk, keep to the following
sequence at the end of the cleaning process:
1. Switch of the On/Off button for the steam jet
("OFF" position).
2. Pull the plug.
3. Use up the steam reserves completely.
4. Set the appliance to the neutral position.
5. Allow the appliance to cool for 5 minutes.
6. Wind up the power cord.
7. Remove the cleaning cloth.
8. Dry the cleaning cloth or wash it as necessary.
1. Set the appliance to the neutral position by aligning the
shaft so that it is positioned approximately at a right an-
gle to the base (Fig. 33), you can feel it click into place
and the appliance can stand up without support.
2. Wind up the power cord, ZChapter 8.2, "Winding up the
power cord".
WARNING:
Tripping hazard! Wind up the power cord as soon as you
have finished cleaning. Otherwise the power cord repre-
sents a tripping hazard.
1. If this has not yet been done, turn the upper cord wind-
ing tab 180°clockwise all the way to the end.
2. Now wind the power cord around the lower and upper
cord winding tabs as shown (Fig. 34).
3. Remove the cleaning cloth and allow to dry or wash it
as necessary, ZChapter 8.3, "Caring for cleaning
cloths".
