starting to install the appliance.
Incorrect installation, adjustment, modification, repair or maintenance can lead to material
damage, injury or explosion. All activities must be carried out by approved, qualified
professionals. The guarantee will be void if the appliance is not installed according to the
specifications.
A number has been placed between square brackets whenever reference is made to a diagram,
figure or table, e.g. [3]. This number refers to diagrams, figures and tables at the end of the guide
listed according to the number concerned.
1.0 General
1.1 Application
Appliance type G(N)SE is suitable only for free and direct intake of the air to be heated and free
discharge of the heated air into the space in which the air heater is located. Appliance type
G(N)CE is suitable for both free air intake or ducted air intake and free blowing or ducting of
heated air.
Wall-mounted air heaters cannot be used to heat areas where corrosive fumes are present
(especially chlorinated hydrocarbons), whether these are drawn in by the heater either directly
from the surrounding area or from outside through a duct or an open window, because of the
danger of corrosion to the heat exchanger.
