2.0 Installation

2.1 Installing the appliance

After unpacking, check the unit for damage. Ensure that the type/model and voltage are correct.
Mount the appliance and any accessories on a sufficiently firm base [2 & 3] taking into
account the minimum clearance room required [1]. Use the four M10 mounting points for this.
Pay particular attention to the space necessary for cleaning the burner and cleaning the flue gas
fan.
2.2 Installing flue gas discharge and air supply
C32 flue gas discharge system.
The maximum length L [3] of the supply and exhaust piping is six metres, incl. 2x2 bends at 90°
(3xD). Each additional right-angle bend will shorten the length by 2 metres. Incorporate 45° bends
if possible. Regarding type 104, the maximum length is 1 metre incl. 1x2 90° bends.
C12 flue gas system.
If necessary, the bend may be placed directly on the appliance. The maximum length L [3] of the
supply and exhaust piping is six metres, incl. 2x2 bends at 90°. Each additional right-angle bend
will shorten the length by 2 metres. Incorporate 45° bends if possible. Regarding type 104, the
maximum length is 1 metre incl. 1x2 90° bends. The flue gas discharge system should be mounted
at a minimum 3° angle of separation from the appliance. [3]
Put the flue gas system into position and attach it correctly according to the installation
instructions for the flue gas discharge system. Ensure that connections to the appliance are
properly tightened. Use the restrictor provided if the flue gas discharge system is less than 3
metres in length (L<3m), . See table [3] for the correct diameter and position.

2.3 Gas connection 3/4"

Installation of the gas pipe and gas valve must comply with applicable local and/or national
regulations. The gas valve must be within reach of the appliance [3]. The gas valve must be closed if
pressure from the connecting pipe exceeds 60mbar. Install a gas filter if concerned about possible
impurities in the supply. In all circumstances, the gas pipe should be blown through according to
regulations prior to the appliance being put into operation. The supplier of the appliance should be
contacted if it needs to be converted to a type of gas other than that indicated on the nameplate.
He can advise you which parts must be replaced in order for the unit to operate correctly with
the desired type of gas [3] column Q.
