Design
The TOP 71-80 are vertical, fully submersible pumps with a half
open impeller. The TOP 90-300 are vertical, fully submersible
pumps with a single-channel or vortex impeller (VOX version).
The pumps work according to the centrifugal pump principle. The
motor runs in maintenance-free rolling bearings. The TOP 90-300
(VOX) range with a three-phase 400 V current has a PTC
thermistor.
The pumps can be fixed or portable.
There are three various designs:

Single phase (W)
–
Single phase with float switch (WS)
–
Three-phase (D)
Single phase motor:
Every single phase motor has a thermal sensor which turns the
motor off if the winding is overloaded or overheated.
Once the winding has cooled down, the thermal sensor
automatically unblocks the motor.
Single phase motor with float switch:
The pump has an added float switch which turns the motor on/off
automatically.
