Automatic safety shut-off
After 60 s (factory setting) of continuous detection of an object,
the infrared electronics automatically stop the water flow.
The automatic safety shut-off can be set in steps of 5 - 420 s
using the remote control (see Special accessories,
Prod. no.: 36 206).
Automatic flushing
(factory setting: not activated)
The automatic flushing serves to maintain water hygiene in the
case of long-term non-utilisation of the fitting and activates
water flow for 1 - 10 minutes, 1 or 3 days after the last use.
Safety notes:
- Ensure free draining in the case of activated automatic
flushing.
- For automatic flushing of the hot and cold water lines, the
fitting must be in the mixed water setting.

Maintenance

Inspect and clean all components and replace if necessary.
Shut off the water supply and switch off the voltage
supply.
I. Transformer
1. Interrupt the voltage supply via transformer (E), see Fig. [9]
2. Detach plug-in connector (D).
Assemble in reverse order.
II. Solenoid valve (12 V DC)
1. Remove screw (L) using a 2.5mm allen key and remove
housing (M), see fold-out page III, Fig. [10].
2. Remove screws (N1) and detach retaining plate (N).
3a. Detach plug-in connector (O) and remove solenoid
valve (P) by turning clockwise using a 5mm allen key,
see Fig. [11].
Fault/ cause/ remedy
Fault
Cause
Water not flowing
• Water supply interrupted
• Filter upstream of solenoid valve blocked
• Solenoid valve defective
• Plug-in connector of solenoid valve
without contact
• No voltage
Water flows
• Solenoid valve defective
continuously
Undesired water flow
• Detection range of sensor system set too
high for local conditions
• Erroneous activation due to object within
detection range of sensor system
Flow rate too low
• Dirty filter / flow straightener
• Service valves not fully open
• Water supply restricted
Incorrect mixed
• See "Flow rate too low"
temperature
• Limescale on mixer spindle
• Incorrect setting of temperature limiter

3b. Remove plug-in connector (O) and pull out solenoid
valve (P).
4. Remove filter (R).
Observe the correct installation position!
Assemble in reverse order.
Insert plug-in connector (O) into bore (O1), see Fig. [11].
III. Filter and flow rate limiter
1. Unscrew pressure hose (A) from adapter (A1), see Fig. [12].
2. Unscrew adapter (A1) from the service valve.
3. Remove filter (A2).
Assemble in reverse order.
IV. Unscrew and clean flow straightener (46 162), see fold-
out page I.
Assemble in reverse order.
V. Mixer spindle
1. Disconnect fitting from connections.
2. Remove fitting from wash basin.
3. Remove screw (F) using a 2mm allen key, see Fig. [13].
4. Remove mixer spindle (G).
5. Remove stop ring (H).
6. Remove screw (S) from housing using a 2.5mm allen key.
7. Pull out mixer spindle (J).
Assemble in reverse order, see section "Setting the
temperature limiter".
Screw (S) must engage in groove (J1) of mixer spindle (J).
Replacement parts, see fold-out page I ( * = special
accessories).
