Logging the handset on at a
base station
You can enroll (log on) up to 8 handsets at an elmeg
DECT300 System. A new (non-programmed) base stati-
on is put directly into the programming mode for logging
on the first handset as soon as the plug-in power unit is
connected. This first handset automatically becomes the
»master handset« and retains the sole privilege of logging
on further handsets (1 - 7) in the system. As they are log-
ged in, each handset is automatically assigned an analog
port for the base station.

The handset will search for base stations that are in the
programming mode. These base stations transmit their
ID code to the display of the handset. If more than one
base station is found, this is indicated by an arrow in the
display. The ID code is the serial number for the base sta-
tion and is also given on the nameplate on the back of the
station. Select your base station and confirm your selec-
tion by pressing the OK key.
