ISO sensitivity

The ISO setting specifies the possible shutter speed and aperture
combinations at a particular brightness. Higher sensitivities allow
faster shutter speeds and/or smaller apertures (for "freezing" rapid
movements or to increase the depth of field), although this can
also result in greater noise.

Color reproduction (FILM MODE) / image properties

One of the many advantages of digital photography is that it is very
easy to change critical properties of a picture.
On the Leica TL, you can influence color reproduction, contrast,
sharpness and color saturation before taking the picture.
Note:
The functions and settings described in the next section relate
exclusively to pictures in one of the two JPEG formats. If the DNG
for the
file format is specified, these settings have no effect as in this case
the image data is always saved in its original format.
Color reproduction
For the color reproduction, you can select between
– for highly saturated colors – and
Vivid
saturated colors and a somewhat softer contrast. There are also
two black and white settings
(high contrast).
