Diesel oil transfer system
The diesel transfer system has been designed for the delivery of
diesel from an open surface tank. This manual provides informa-
tion for the proper care and use of the product to ensure a long
and dependable life.

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS
This manual has been made to give the user a general knowl-
edge about the equipment and the necessary maintenance and
operation instructions. Carefully read and understand this man-
ual for the information required to use this equipment in a safe
and efficient manner before starting installation, maintenance
or repair. Maintenance schedules proposed in this manual are
meant to be the minimal required for efficiency, safety and en-
durance of the equipment in normal operating conditions. Be
observant for any type of malfunction or potential safety issue at
all times. Disconnect electrical power before removing protec-
tive covers as prescribed by the Standard 292/2 Nov. 1992 item
4.1.4. for maintenance, repair and general lubrication by author-
ized personnel.
PRECAUTIONS
During diesel delivery, wear oil resistant gloves and wash hands
after use. Diesel spills should be properly cleaned immediately
in order to avoid slips and/or contamination. Use particular care
with the areas next to the controls. When cleaning, and espe-
cially when removing dust or waste, wear suitable clothes and
use proper safety equipment, as required. Never place hands or
limbs under moving parts.
TRANSPORT
The weight of the machine is stated on the "Machine identifica-
tion" label.
Moving the pump does not require the use of lifting device.
INSTALLATION
Electric connection should be done on a CEI standard socket
provided with switch (so it is not live when the connection is
made) according to L.46/90 regulations. Always follow local and
national regulations.
PRELIMINARY INSPECTIONS
Before the power connection is made, verify the conductors are
not live and general switches are off.
SAFETY DEVICES
General switch
It is placed on the machine side and allows the operator to turn
off power quickly. Once the motor has stopped, it can be re-
started.
Mechanical protections
There are metal enclosures meant to prevent access to me-
chanical moving parts, high-temperature parts and live electric
parts.
Harmful functions
The noise from the machine is below 80 dB (A). There are no
vibrations.
HARMFUL EMISSIONS
Steam emission is negligible.
FIRE PREVENTION
In case of fire, never use water, but use extinguishing powders
charged with CO
only. Extinguishers should be kept near the
2
pump. Combustion of paints and plastic parts may produce toxic
emissions: use the normal precautions in case of fire (always
contact the security supervisor of the place of installation).

surface tank. The pump may include the following additional ac-
cessory equipment:
• volumetric flow meter, with filter
• suction screen
• suction kit (Diesel oil hose and foot valve with screen)
• delivery kit (Diesel oil hose, nozzle)
